Connect with cookies

Paste one Cookie-Editor export and your LinkedIn account is connected, no password needed.

Before you start

Use the browser you normally use for LinkedIn, on a computer. Curviate gives LinkedIn this browser's details together with your session. If you export from one browser or computer and paste in another, LinkedIn may sign the account out, and Curviate can't tell.

Steps

  1. Install the Cookie-Editor extension, free for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Pin it to the toolbar.
  2. Open linkedin.com in the same browser, signed in as the account you want to connect.
  3. On the LinkedIn tab, open Cookie-Editor, click Export, then JSON. The export is copied for you.
  4. In the Curviate dashboard, open Accounts, click Connect account, choose Connect with cookies and paste into step 4.

The dashboard reads the export in your browser and shows "LinkedIn session found, valid until" a date. Pick the location LinkedIn should see you connect from, then connect.

What leaves your browser

Only your LinkedIn session cookies: li_at, and li_a when you have a Sales Navigator or Recruiter session. The rest of the export stays in your browser, and the paste box never shows what you pasted. Curviate uses the session cookies for this connect and does not store or log them.

Time zone for activity hours

There is no time zone to set. The account's activity hours follow where it connects from: the location you pick here, or your own proxy.

For agents

An agent never needs your password, cookies or verification codes. It asks for a connect request, and you complete it in your own Curviate dashboard, where it is listed under Accounts.
